Glimpses of God

Chris’s photos reflect his desire to encounter and explore transcendence as found in the most commonplace of objects and everyday experiences. 

As a church minister he draws on the contemplative tradition to learn to see the presence of God all around us, and to rejoice in these encounters. 

His photos invite us to join him on this journey, to glimpse the sacredness of the ordinary, find the beauty in the mundane, and to find our lives enriched and deepened. 

Chris has no formal artistic qualification beyond “O” level pottery. This is his first exhibition (and, he adds, probably his last).
