If you’d like to find out more about the Christian faith, the Alpha Course at The Grove is a great way to think through and discuss the big questions about life and faith. The course is also a way to take a first look at the Christian faith, as it’s easy to engage with and there are lots of other like-minded people with you.

How does Alpha work?
What is alpha?
Alpha is for anyone who is curious about what Christians believe and why. Many of us have questions about life, faith, spirituality but don’t always have a way to find out more. Alpha is a great way to explore these big questions, and takes place across the globe for anyone who is interested!
How does Alpha work?
The course is made up a series of fun, free and friendly sessions exploring the basic ideas of the Christian faith. It runs over about eleven weeks. Each time there is a short talk which looks at a different question around faith. It’s designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open and informal environment. It’s a space where people are free to express their views, to disagree, and ask the really hard questions! No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
